The STARS Computing Corps is a national alliance dedicated to broadening participation of underrepresented groups in computing within institutions of higher education. We aim to increase computing persistence and promote career advancement for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty, with a focus on addressing systemic and social barriers.

Our Impact
STARS has engaged students and faculty from 53 colleges and universities, promoting persistence and career advancement in computing. Our programs connect computing to community and societal impacts, reinforce knowledge, develop professional skills, and build a network committed to diversity and equity.
